My classroom project was just funded by Chevron! Submit yours ASAP!
Hey there,
I submitted a project to DonorsChoose.org for Chevron’s Fuel Your School Program and it was fully funded! I’m so excited to receive my camcorder for my classroom!
The funding is limited and available on a first come first serve basis. Don’t forget to submit your project. If you have any questions you can check the DonorsChoose.org Help Center, or reach out to Katie at DonorsChoose.org at 415- 391-2817or katiew@donorschoose.org.
Here are the details:
To participate in Fuel Your School, submit a project on DonorsChoose.org detailing the materials and supplies you need for your classroom.
Projects must be submitted before November 31st. Funding will begin on October 1st in the order that projects were received, so submit your project as soon as possible for the best chance of receiving funding!
Before you submit your project, take note of the following details:
- Only one project per teacher will receive funding.
- Projects may include up to $2,000* in materials. (Field trips are not eligible to receive funding - see Official Rules of the Fuel Your School program for your region.)
- Projects submitted before September 1st will not qualify for funding through this program. If you currently have a live DonorsChoose.org project, we hope you'll submit a new one to participate in Fuel Your School.
- Any project that meets DonorsChoose.org eligibility requirements may receive funding from Chevron. However, because Chevron recognizes the importance of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education to the future, classroom projects that support STEM education are encouraged.
- Eligible classroom project requests will be funded on a rotating basis by school and city, in the order in which they are submitted on DonorsChoose.org. Funding will not be applied to a new project immediately upon posting. SeeOfficial Rules for further details.
For complete details and official rules, visit www.fuelyourschool.com and for the latest news and updates follow Fuel Your School on Facebook.
*According to DonorsChoose.org requirements, teachers with 4 or more points can request up to $2,000 in materials and all other teachers can request a maximum of $800 in materials.
